    Looks wonderful Carol!

Honestly speaking had never heard about Groupon Getaway, until I read about it here. And these are such wonderful locations and place with awesome deals. I guess anyone would love to visit them. However, I do wonder if these work for people who are located in other countries also?

    Thanks for sharing 🙂

Hi Harleena, and thanks for stopping by. Groupon Getaways do have some great deals. I am looking at one right now for a nearby resort at half price. Great weekend birthday gift for my spouse, I am thinking. I don’t know about international purchases, but I will look into it for you, and post a comment when I find out more.

Hi Harleena. I just received a response from Groupon regarding your question. This is their response:

“Unfortunately, our system is only able to process credit cards from certain areas outside of the US. On both the purchase page and in the credit cards section of your “My Account” page, there is a “State/Province” drop-down menu. If your card is registered in a country or state that is not currently on this list, then you will not be able to use it for a Groupon purchase. We are continually adding valid billing locations, so please check back soon! We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.”

I checked my account and saw that as of right now, credit cards must be registered in US, Canada, Australia, and United Kingdom. Hope this information helps.

Hi Carolyn. Yes, it would be a very hard choice for me too! I just wish I had a larger travel budget to take advantage of all these great travel deals. But I did have fun writing about these destinations, dreaming of myself being transported to each location as I wrote about it.
